This March, in honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, join us in celebrating the amazing women in craft beer with a special crowler release and a female-led beer tasting class series!
Denver Beer Co is proud to have a robust team of women in our crew, from brewers to beertenders to pack team to managers, we raise a glass to each and every one of you and all our fellow female rock stars across the craft beer industry!
This month we’re tapping a special collab brew dubbed “Need Help With That?” Brewed in partnership with the women-led brewing teams at Pumphouse Brewery, Platt Park Brewing, and Cerveceria Colorado, this special Belgian-style Wit was developed by Denver Beer Co brewers Julieanne Diehl, Sarah Hiller, & Hannah Shankman and features the 2024 Pink Boots Society special hop blend. Crowlers will be available all month at each Denver Beer Co location and feature label art from our own Sarah Hiller!
To make this beer even more amazing, 20% of the proceeds from “Need Help With That?” will be donated to a scholarship fund for female or non-binary students in the MSU hospitality program who are pursuing fermented beverage courses.
Each partnering brewery will tap this special brew in March, so visit each taproom to try out their unique twist on the “Need Help With That?” International Women’s Day celebratory beer!
We’re hosting our second-annual female-led beer tasting class! Led by JulieAnne Deihl, taproom brewer for the DBC Lowry location, and Grace Meluso, taproom lead at our South Downing taproom, with help from DBC production brewer Sarah Hiller, this three-part class series will be a professionally taught beer tasting, featuring sensory analysis training and the comparing and contrasting of 5 different beer types. Each class will have a theme that dives into the unique styles of the beer world.
