It’s that time of year, and the Neighborhood Hop Swap is back at Denver Beer Co!⁠ ⁠ We look forward to the Hop Swap every year.⁠ It’s our chance to involve our entire DBC community, and craft a beer that is entirely local, and made with the literal fruits of your labor.⁠ ⁠ On April 12th from 5pm-7pm at our South Downing taproom, we’ll be handing out 100 baby hop rhizome starters for Denverites to grow in their own backyards.⁠ These hop rhizomes are from @YakimaChief Hops and are FREE to anyone willing to give them water, sunshine, and a little love to grow throughout the summer season.⁠ ⁠ This year we'll also have representatives from Yakima Chief on hand to answer questions and provide hop growing tips.⁠ ⁠ Once the hops mature in the fall, Hop Swap participants will bring their hop harvest back to the brewery where we will use them to create truly local brew.⁠ ⁠ Mark your calendars, and maybe get a few gardening tips ready.
