Denver #DrankPink! And we wrote a big $18,000 check!

For the third year in a row we asked Colorado to #DrinkPink. And boy did you ever! This year we donated more than $18,000 to the American Cancer Society via our #DrinkPink campaign, up 38% over last year’s donation!  Dang!

What are you talking about exactly?

Let us fill you in. During the month of October, Denver Beer Co. and its distributor, Breakthru Beverage each donated 5% of every sale of Princess Yum Yum cans, pints, kegs and swag to the fight against breast cancer.  In addition, our suppliers Oregon Fruit and GPI, donated more than $3000 in raw materials to help us make our beer, which we then passed along as part of our donation. The combined 10% of sales revenue was donated to the American Cancer Society who will allocate the funds towards breast cancer research in Colorado. That’s $18,000 towards research to cure breast cancer. And we are flippin’ proud to support the fight.

Since starting the program in 2017, we’ve donated more than $39,000 to the American Cancer Society. Each year we’ve grown our donation numbers about 40%. That’s huge! And all thanks to you, our loyal customers and Princess Yum Yum fans, who helped make it all possible.

We hope this campaign continues to grow every year, we can’t wait to see where it will go next year! As we sign off for the holidays, we say thank you, with warmth in our hearts, to everyone who helped us give back to our communities this year by supporting our nonprofit partner Casting for Recovery, attending events to benefit our charity partners, and for drinking Princess Yum Yum in October. We are so grateful to call Colorado home and to call you our family!

Cheers to you, Colorado!
