Denver Beer Co. Launches Princess Yum Yum #DrinkPink campaign for month of October to support breast cancer research in Colorado

For every pint, can, keg of Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch and #drinkpink swag sold across state of Colorado, Denver Beer Co. and Breakthru Beverage will donate 10% to breast cancer research in Colorado

Denver, Colo. (September 26, 2017) –  October 1, 2017 marks the launch of Denver Beer Co.’s #DrinkPink campaign whereby 10% of sales of Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch beer and swag will go directly to breast cancer research in Colorado.  From October 1st – 31st, Denver Beer Co. and its distributor, Breakthru Beverage will each donate 5% of every sale of Princess Yum Yum cans, pints, kegs and swag to the fight against breast cancer.

Denver Beer Co. partnered with the Colorado chapter of the American Cancer Society for the #DrinkPink campaign and has earmarked all funds raised by the brewery to go to researchers based in Colorado via the 501(c)3’s local chapter.  In addition to the #DrinkPink campaign, Denver Beer Co. and Breakthru Beverage will host the Pink Beer Garden at the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, presented by University of Colorado Health, on October 22, 2017 near Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village.  Denver Beer Co. will pour Princess Yum Yum to all participants in the walk who are raising money for and “making strides” in the fight against breast cancer.

“We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer,” stated Denver Beer Co. co-founder Charlie Berger. “Now that Princess Yum Yum is available year round, we can put our love for the pink beer towards a good cause during the month of October.  The more folks “drink pink,” the more we’ll be able to donate to breast cancer research.  We’re challenging the whole state to #DrinkPink in October, let’s see how far we can take it.”

Denver Beer Co. co-founder Patrick Crawford added “the #DrinkPink campaign is an effort to implement another conscious business practice at Denver Beer Co.  As a business we can address and support societal issues and hopefully move the dial just a little bit for the greater good. We are proud to add this campaign to our Non-profit of the Year program, which for 2017 benefits Denver Mountain Parks Foundation,  and our Olde Town Arvada Water Tower Wit program, sales of which benefit the Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation per Arvada Mayor Williams’ selection.”

Denver Beer Co.’s #DrinkPink campaign will kick-off on October 1 with a launch party at the Denver Beer Co. Olde Town Arvada location.  The brewery will have a big screen TV available to view the Denver Bronco’s game, a pink photo booth, t-shirts, and Princess Yum Yum on tap and available in crowlers and 6-packs to-go. Beginning on October 1st and lasting through October 31, 10% of all Princess Yum Yum sales throughout the state of Colorado will go to breast cancer research in Colorado.  For more information, visit www.DenverBeerCo.com.
