Last Monday we hosted the Clinton Global Initiative in our private event space, the Barrel Room, for their event which highlighted the advancement of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) learning. Their event brought together approximately 100 businesses and nonprofit leaders to discuss their shared commitment to developing opportunities to increase STEM learning. The evening included brewery tours, trivia and discussion on one of CGI’s initiatives, Tech Girls Rock.

Did you know in 1985 37% of women pursued tech-related degrees, compared to the small 12% today. The goal of Tech Girls Rock is to increase that percentage! We really enjoyed hosting the event and it was fun visiting with supporters of this advancement, including Chelsea Clinton herself.

The Barrel Room is a great space to host any type of event. Brewery tours and brewing education can always be included in private events, and is a great way to spice up your corporate events!
