Serious fun.  Each 22 oz. bomber is an example of an innovative style, a seasonal specialty, or an interesting and creative recipe from our head brewers.  Each bomber style is a limited release and is only available for a short time.  We hope you enjoy these sojourns into flavor.

Anniversary IV

Oak Aged Rye Pale Ale

Boom! Denver Beer Co is four years old! This limited edition bomber is a real party. Brewed with Simcoe hops, heritage crystal barley, German rye malts, and then aged on medium toasted French oak, our Anniversary IV Oak Aged Rye Pale Ale is complex and flavorful. Time to celebrate! 6% ABV

King Ink

India Black Ale

This India Black Ale is made with a base of 2-Row barley, crystal, and carafa malts. A rich caramel malt base is complemented with hopping of Columbus, Mosaic, Cascade, Amarillo, and Citra hops. Citrusy, pungent, and earthy with a fruity hop complexity.
6.3% ABV, 44 IBU’s.

IPA with Cascara

This American IPA features a unique combination of hops and cascara for a delightful flavor profile. Cascara, the dried skin of a coffee cherry, provides an exotic dark cherry essence with notes of raisins and fresh tobacco leaf. The earthy character of the cascara is complimented by citrus and fresh tropical fruit aromas from Simcoe, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops. Enjoy the ride!

Cocoa Cream Graham Cracker Porter

Oak Aged Porter

We started with an imperial version of our longtime favorite Graham Cracker Porter and then aged it on American Oak with vanilla and cacao nibs. The result is a rich, flavorful brew nuanced with chocolate, vanilla and a creamy finish. This is a bold, yet deliciously approachable beer - kind of like creating a triple decker stack of s’mores and then dunking the whole thing in a milk shake.

Tandem Pedal

Double IPA

Tandem Pedal is an unapologetically hoppy ride. Brewed with our favorite hops, including Mosaic, Cascade and Nelson Sauvin, the aroma is reminiscent of tangerines and grapefruits. Inspired by our Incredible Pedal IPA, Tandem Pedal doubles the fun with the inclusion of Colorado honey. At 9.7% ABV you'll agree, it’s a lot more fun to pedal with a partner!

King of Jacks

Imerial Pumpkin Porter

An imperial pumpkin ale, King of Jacks illuminates harvest season with audacious pumpkin punch and a rich malty finish. Loaded with real pumpkin, malted barley, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, this King of Jacks is packed full of the flavors of fall. 8% ABV

Blood Orange Tandem Pedal

Double IPA

We’ve made a juicy turn with this year’s version of our double IPA, a blend Centennial, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, mosaic, and Amarillo hops, provide a robust citrus flavor reminiscent of tangerines and grapefruits, the addition of blood oranges creates citrus intensity and adds a slight sweetness to complement the hop profile and malt body. At 10% ABV, you'll need to pedal with a partner.

Belgian Quad

This warming Belgian Quad is made with a variety of crystal malts that yield a delightful malt profile with layers of caramel and toffee flavors. The Belgian yeasts contribute a fruity complexity reminiscent of plums and raisins that mellows out the high alcohol content. Enjoy this beer by a warm fire, she'll be sure to help thaw your toes on a snowy afternoon. 11% ABV.

Barrel Aged Japance Off

Saison Aged in Red Wine Barrels

We aged our sake yeast saison in red wine barrels for 8 months. The result is a complex combination of oak, red wine, and fruitiness with a hint of Mistral hops. Brettanomyces was added to a select barrel and blended in for an extra dimension of complexity. Dry, crisp, and easy drinking yet extremely flavorful. 7% ABV

Oak Aged Imperial Porter

Bad Motorfinger is an oak aged Imperial Porter brewed in collaboration with Koala San Brewing and Coda Coffee of Denver. Espresso made with imported beans from Sul de Minas, Brazil is infused in the brew creating a rich, complex beer balanced with notes of chocolate, vanilla, oak, and coffee. Rock on! 9.0% ABV

'Tis the Saison

Holiday Black Saison

'Tis the Saison is a celebration of the holiday season. Our twist on a Winter Ale is a Black Saison made with barley, wheat, and rye. Warm fermentation with a blend of Belgian yeasts produces notes of plum and spice. The addition of clove, cardamom, and galangal root create a flavor profile reminiscent of mulling spices. 'Tis the Saison will warm you on even the coldest winter night. Happy Holidays!

Chocolate Coconut Graham Cracker Porter

We're celebrating five years with a kicked-up version of longtime favorite Graham Cracker Porter. Coming in at 8% ABV, this beer was aged on dark chocolate and coconut. The result is a rich, flavorful beer nuanced with chocolate, vanilla and a creamy coconut finish. Cheers to five great years!

Barrel-aged Saison

100% Brettanomyces Merlot Barrel Fermented experimental beer. The base of this beer is two row barley and wheat. Fermented in a Merlot barrel with Brettanomyces, a wild yeast, and aged for six months in the barrel. Notes of fruit, funk, barnyard, and horse butt dominate the complexity of this beer. 7.8% ABV.

Anniversary VI

Barrel Aged Red Sour Ale

This blended barrel-aged red sour was brewed in celebration of Denver Beer Co’s sixth anniversary! A total of 10 separate batches of beer were soured and barrel aged in a variety of vessels including stainless steel, red wine barrels, tequila barrels, and bourbon barrels. The base beers included Saisons, Red Ales, an Imperial Red, and a Kolsch. Aging occurred from a range of 1-27 months(yes, some was brewed in the spring of 2015!). Cherries were added to a portion of the blend to enhance the fruity complexity. The barrels were then blended to achieve a final beer that was complex, fruity, oaky, and sour, yet quite drinkable and refreshing. 7.0% ABV.

Drama Queen

Barrel Aged Saison

This barrel-aged beauty sports some serious swagger with a wide range of fruity flavors and aromas. Notes of plum, raspberry, pear, and peach are derived from five months of aging in a mix of French Cabernet, Merlot and Malbec oak barrels. The base Saison was made with wheat and malted barley and fermented with a blend of Belgian and French yeasts as well as Sake yeast to achieve complexity and a dryness to balance the sweet fruit flavors and oaky undertones provided from barrel aging. 8.3% ABV.
