Denver brewery partners with Lucky Pie Pizza company founders to create permanent burger food truck inside Olde Wadsworth location.

Denver, Colo. (May 11, 2017) – Denver Beer Co. today announced that is has partnered with the founders of Denver’s Lucky Pie Pizza company to create a permanent burger food truck inside the brewery’s third location on Olde Wadsworth.  The new taproom has plans for a vintage airstream trailer that will camp within the taproom and dish out burgers and fries to brewery patrons.  The burger concept, dubbed ‘The Mighty’, was created in partnership with founders Brendan McManus, James Samara, and culinary director Sakima Isaac of Lucky Pie Pizza and El Jefe Mexican Restaurant.

Founder Brendan McManus describes the burger concept: “The Mighty is built around creating the best burger folks have ever had. We will be using grass fed Free Range Colorado beef for our burgers, hand made local buns, and an ever changing seasonal menu of delicious and creative toppings. Fries will be made fresh daily with hand cut organic potatoes. We love burgers, but it’s hard to find a delicious healthy burger in the greater Denver area. We are going to solve that problem with The Mighty.”

Denver Beer Co.’s Olde Town Arvada location at 5768 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., formerly the Craig Chevrolet Dealership, will include a brewery, tap room and outdoor patio with a similar look and feel to Denver Beer Co.’s Platte Street tap room. The Arvada tap room will include 4350 square feet of interior space to house a new seven (7) barrel brew house, The Mighty burger airstream trailer, and a tasting room, plus 1500 square feet of outdoor patio space in front of the building. The Arvada location will feature long communal tables, large open garage doors, and industrial finishes..

“What could be better on a warm summer evening than a burger and a beer on a patio?” stated Denver Beer Co. founder Patrick Crawford.  “Burgers and beer have a long and glorious history of good times together. It’s a match made in heaven.”

Co-founder Charlie Berger added,  “Brendan, James, Sakima and their team totally get it. Great food enhances great beer and vice versa. We are excited for this pairing and think Olde Town should be too!”

In addition to The Mighty burger airstream trailer, Denver Beer Co.’s Arvada location will have a dedicated brewer and brewing system with a similar menu concept of rotating beers that change with the seasons, a signature and exclusive Arvada beer, as well as the Denver Beer Co. flagship brews including Graham Cracker Porter, Incredible Pedal IPA, Sun Drenched Exploratory Ale, Pretzel Assassin Amber Lager, and rotating seasonals.
