Denver Beer Co. Sponsors City Park Jazz 2019 Concert Season with Weekly Beer Garden

June 6, 2019

Brewery to host beer garden in the City Park Pavillion with 100% of proceeds to benefit the City Park Jazz organization.

Denver, Colo. (June 6, 2019) – Denver Beer Co. today announced its sponsorship of the City Park Jazz 2019 concert season. As a sponsor of City Park Jazz, Denver Beer Co. will host a beer garden within the City Park Pavillion during each concert of the 2019 season. All proceeds from alcohol sales at the Denver Beer Co. beer garden will benefit City Park Jazz, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

City Park Jazz has hosted concerts next to the lake in Denver’s City Park for over thirty years. The tradition continues for it’s 33rd year with the City Park Jazz summer 2019 concert lineup in Denver’s historic City Park; featuring timeless musicians as well as some new faces and additions to the season. Concerts will be every Sunday from 6 to 8 pm starting June 2nd at the City Park Pavilion until the last Sunday concert on August 4th. This summer, City Park Jazz will showcase longtime Colorado legends in genres varying from jazz, blues, and salsa. This includes the renowned Hazel Miller, who has been quoted as “a force of nature” by the Rocky Mountain News. Colorado favorite Dostero, a contemporary jazz ensemble, will be a featured act as well. The season also highlights the talents of Emma Mayes & The Hip, Invisible Bird, Freddy Rodriguez & The Jazz Connection, and many more.

Each Sunday, Denver Beer Co. will set up a beer garden within the City Park Pavillion directly across from the concert stage. The brewery will serve a wide variety of canned beers as well as O&A Colorado Craft Seltzer for concert goers over the age of 21. The beer garden will include communal tables and adirondack chairs for patrons to utilize while enjoying the weekly City Park Jazz concert.

“City Park Jazz is a long-standing Denver tradition that we are so proud to support,” stated Denver Beer Co. co-founder Charlie Berger. “There is nothing better than a warm summer evening with a picnic blanket, friends, great music and great beers. We hope our partnership with City Park Jazz helps ensure the concert series returns year after year for Denverites to enjoy.”

Denver Beer Co was founded in 2011 and has three breweries including a taproom and brewery on Platte Street in downtown Denver, a taproom and brewery in Olde Town Arvada,  and a production brewery, Canworks, in Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood which focuses primarily on the brewing, canning, and bottling of beer for distribution. In addition to its lineup of craft beer, Denver Beer Co. recently launched O&A Colorado Craft Hard Seltzer for distribution in Colorado.
